Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) – Startup Research Grant (SRG) project titled “Development of a multi-axis actuation system for the probe in SubSurface Scanning Probe Microscopy” in the Department of Instrumentation and Control Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
Other Instructions
• The candidates shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.
• The candidates should submit the hard copy of the filled application (only in the prescribed format given in the next two pages) along with self-attested photocopies of supporting documents in a sealed envelope to the office of the Principal Investigator through Registered Post.
• Eligible candidates may send an email to [email protected] / [email protected], with the subject marked as “JRF Application- SERB SRG Project – ” together with the attachment of the following documents. (i) Cover Letter, (ii) The duly filled application (the next two pages of this advertisement) together with self-attested photocopies of supporting documents scanned as a single merged PDF file, (iii) Latest CV in a PDF file
• Mere fulfilling the abovementioned criteria will not be sufficient. Higher criteria for the selection of the candidates may be imposed based on the number of applications.
• The selection committee’s decision is final. If any applicant is found to canvass in any manner, the candidate selection shall be summarily rejected.
• Preference will be given to the candidate who is having good academic record, research potential, and relevant experience. However, the selection of the candidate would be based on their performance in the Interview.
