The Wildlife Institute of India (WII) is a premier national autonomous Institute of the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF&CC), Government of India in the field of teaching, training and research. WII wishes to engage a Project Scientist – I (Indian national only) through an interview, last date of application is on Tuesday, 11 th January 2022. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR WII JOBS 2022:

1. Candidate(s) who have completed PhD/equivalent Degree from a recognised university will be eligible to appear for the interview.
2. Applications without enclosures and/or incomplete in any respect shall be rejected.
3. Age of the candidate should not be more than 35 years as on last date of application. The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years for the candidate(s) belonging to SC/ST/OBC and Women category.
4. The Project Scientist – I shall be paid monthly remuneration of 56000/- +HRA
5. Selected candidate(s) will be engaged initially for a period mentioned against the advertised position. Subsequently the same may be extended depending upon the exigencies of work at sole discretion of the Institute and satisfactory performance of the candidate.
6. Other allowances and benefits to the research personnel would be admissible as per the rules of the Institute, amended from time to time.
7. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of following criteria 40% marks for publication (based on
   citation index), 20% marks on relevant experience and 10% marks for statement of purpose.
8. Selection of candidate will be based on Online Interview of shortlisted candidates. Date of interview will be intimated to shortlisted candidates.
9. Canvassing in any form is liable to rejection of the candidature.
10. Candidate(s) should send the duly filled-in applications with of educational qualifications, research experience, extra-curricular activities, date of birth etc., along with copies of mark sheets of all examinations, to [email protected]
